Reports

Reports turn your day-to-day records into a clear picture of how the business is doing. Run them whenever you want — daily, weekly or once a month.

Open Reports from the main menu. You'll see:

Income statement

This is the most important report — it tells you whether you made or lost money in a period.

Income statement — revenue, expenses and net for the chosen period.
  1. Open Reports → Income Statement.
  2. Pick the period (this month, last month, year-to-date, custom).
  3. Optionally pick a branch. Owners can compare branches side by side.
  4. The report shows three sections: Revenue (sales + services), Expenses (operating costs + payroll), and Net (revenue − expenses).
A healthy net A positive net means the business made money in the period. Compare against the previous period (the report shows a side-by-side column) to see the trend.

Sales report

A line-by-line list of every sale.

  • Filter by date, branch, employee, customer or payment method.
  • See total revenue and total tax for the filtered set at the top.
  • Export to Excel for accountant-style analysis.

Top-selling products

Open Reports → Top Selling. Toggle between By quantity and By revenue — bestsellers by units sold are not always your biggest earners.

Expense breakdown

A pie chart and table grouping every expense by category. Spot if rent has crept up or if transport is eating into your margin.

Payroll report

For each employee in the chosen month: salary, advances, allowances, deductions and net pay. Useful for handing to your accountant or for filing payroll tax.

Stock on hand

Current quantity and value of every product, by branch. The total value at the bottom is the worth of your inventory at cost.

Debtor & creditor aging

Already covered under Expenses, Debtors & Creditors. Use the aging report monthly to chase old debts before they go cold.

Filtering reports

Every report shares the same filter bar at the top:

  • Date range — preset (today, this week…) or custom from / to.
  • Branch — single branch, or "All branches" if you have many.
  • Compare — turn on to show the previous period side by side.

Exporting (PDF / Excel)

  1. Open the report and apply your filters.
  2. Click Export at the top right.
  3. Choose PDF (printable, with your business logo) or Excel (editable).
  4. The file is generated in the background and a download link appears (and is also emailed to you).
Big reports Exports for very large date ranges may take a minute or two. You can keep using the app while the file is prepared — you'll get a notification when it's ready.
